I can't see them either. I get lots of boxes with red crosses and when I follow the links to Photobucket it says "Page not found."0

I have no idea where we go from here. Clearly it is odd that some cane view them whilst others can't. Can I suggest you right clic on a box with the red cross on, it may say "open pic/window". I'd have thought the moderator might have come to help by now. I will go to the techie board and ask someone what we can do.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. at the top when you are posting,
click on the insert image tab,
get rid of the http://
then copy your image
paste it into this url
ok
done.
have a go
I use photobucket.
all I do is copy the url of the pic and then insert it into the insert image box but you must get rid of the http:// first.
then click ok
hope this helps
cw.
just like that.
when I click on your links it says page can not be found.

when you are posting.
the 14th item across the top of the post, is "insert image."
before you do this go to photobucket and copy the URL of the pic you want to insert.
like this.
so the URL link the first one under the pic, is the one you need to copy,
to copy and paste,
right click on your mouse and go to copy or paste,
you must copy first then paste,
then this.
insert image tab.
then press the back button on your keyboard to get rid of, the http:// and paste by right click and paste into the link and press ok.
your picture should then appear in front of you.

From all corners of the globe I've had responses today, having posted the question of several other boards, but you know what, I need'nt have, because here on my own proverbial doorstep Computerwoman has presented me with the answer, so thanks. Although I am pressed for time as we're off to the Dr's, I will endevour to follow the procedure later today. I will say one thing though, the URL (the top one of the three), I've been using the bottom one. As for the symbols along the top of this box, huh!, how stupid of me. The mountain clearly states "insert image".
I would like to think I'm not alone in remaining in my comfort zone and fail to seek out what all these facilities are. Can't wait to try the post again. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Please don't let this develope. If we lived in a perfect world, we wouldn't be here, wouldn't be asking questions, wouldn't be learning from one another.
It so happens we don't live in that perfect world and some of us need to ask and learn, thankfully there are people prepared to go to lengths to explain in detail, procedure. I bet there are many who have welcomed learning how to produce pics onto sites, simply as a direct result of me making a muck-up.
I'm desperately longing to put these instructions to the test, but so much is happening today, that I can't set aside enough time. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
