Free Hot drink and cake every month @ John Lewis

Hi All,

The John Lewis free cake and hot drink is being phased out over Xmas as they do not want it to be too busy for the restaurant staff. As they have been quite busy due to the offer. After Xmas you will get vouchers based on how much you spend and how frequently you buy.

I got 3 more vouchers a little while back but no option to have the free tote bag which other friends were offered or have blagged.
Tried to get one in exchange for cake voucher & also phoned customer services but totally intransigent & cannot explain rationale as to why some got offer & others different.
Very disappointed JL & Waitrose are becoming like their competitors

Some people are even selling what are called Monty & Mabel gift bags which look to me like a 'carrier' bag you are given at the checkout. Guess people will try to sell anything!

Got my bag today. It's lovely and won't be sold.

Have to go at the weekend to get my bag, hope there are some left. And mine won't be sold either. I will give it to one of the family members in Germany whom I have not seen in 40 years when I go over to see them at Christmas. But first I have to show them the advert to understand about it.
Fingers crossed I will get the lovely bag.

You can collect them from any till so if one has ran out do try the rest.

Thank you. I better get there early in the day, many tills and 6 floors! Oh, and the basement, too! A lot of floor space to cover! If no bag left, I will end up knackered using my voucher on the 6th floor having cake and coffee overlooking London. One way or another, very grateful to ever get these vouchers for such a long period.

Well I collected mine last week from the Oxford Street ground floor and the box containing the bags was bulging with them! Don't worry too much!
