  • arr ok then cable tie it to the larger of the pipes on the right hand side, set the dial on the front to 20d - 30d, if he has wired it correctly then this should sort it

I assume that you haven't paid any balance owing on this install? Have you received the Benchmark paperwork from your installer at the time of commissioning?

The photo showing the pipework close up demonstrates the dogs dinner of a filling loop set up on this boiler. By spending a small amount extra you can have an Ecotec plus model where the filling loop is part of the boiler and hidden underneath.
  • & inheritly more prone to leaking, I'd fit an external filling loop any day, even if the boiler had a built in one

Right thanks for your replies. The guy who fitted boiler really just replaced boiler like for like so very little extra work, I think he just down sized some of the larger pipes to smaller ones. Any how got boiler working properly now turns out he was suppose to take a small jumper out of the control box the electrician said it take either be set for 24 (might be 12v) volts or 230 volts and wasn't taken out which was left in by default.

I am going to get some more insulation oh and frost state is now back on pipe with a tie, it wouldn't work as the boiler was working 24/7 due to not taken out that jumper

:( All things considered, what has been the problem, SHOULD, never have happened as they are all standard installation requirements, and they should have been picked up on commissioning, thats if it was commissioned?

Have you received all the necessary commissioning paperwork and registration documents to cover your warranty, if not make sure you do, and if you don't check with Gas Safe, although a bit late, to make sure the guy was suitably qualified to do the job :(
