If you don't like it, stop using eBay and PayPal altogether.

So I and everyone selling on ebay has been forced to use PayPal.

If you want to play in their playpen then you need to follow their rules.

You are also arguing that you should be able to sell on ebay and use their services for free. Accepting payment and clearing it on your behalf costs them money.

You could always change to collection only and only accept cash, but of course the risk is you won't sell it for so much.
  • Paypal and it's owner ebay are definitely the work of the devil................it's just that I can't stop using them!!!!

This same methodology is used in the UK Banking world

    Personal Bank Accounts are free
    Business Bank Accounts get charged

General Personal Banks accounts are free, unless you chose a specific account that gives various rewards/offers.

It is exactly the same to show that if you are taking money for a product/services then your are a business, so should have a business account which charges for this privilege
