I dont know if anyone can help but i am after some advice here is the situation...
'Angiolotty' Baby store in Stratford on Avon employed a lady to go and get business for it, she advertised through her own Facebook page for the shop mainly Bugaboo for prams at cut prices (not unrealistic just slightly cheaper than competitors) lots of ladies from Bugaboo enthusiast groups either paid in full or went on payment plans to pay monthly for prams until the balance was paid off and then they would receive there items
A few people started getting suspicious and started looking up this company on companies house etc and found out that it had 3 CCJs outstanding and a few other baddies, they said that there wasnt any problems and carried and taking peoples money and that a big delivery was due from Bugaboo on the 18th November
On friday evening someone emailed them to chase up there items and got an autoresponce saying...
'Thank you for contacting Angiolotty
Following the recent negative social media campaign against us we are dealing with cashflow issues which have currently led to us closing both store and website to new business.
Whilst we hope to resolve these issues customers seeking refund should contact their credit card company or paypal as appropriate.'
Now we have contacted our banks, paypal credit card companies and some people have been able to claim and some haven't, the BBC and Daily Mail have been contacted and are running stories on it as some ladies have newborn babies due any day and have no prams and no money to buy other ones as they are £800-£1200.
Question - We were told by the lady who was touting for business everywhere that there was a 'closing order' put on the shop would they of known about this in advance like days, weeks or months as he carried on taking money even the day before fraudulently knowing that he couldn't forfil orders and Bugaboo have told us that the orders were placed and not paid for?

There doesn't seem to be a question in there, what do you want advice on? Anyone who paid by card should be able to get their money back, anything else may be more difficult.0

If they can afford £800 - £1200 for a pram in the first instance i don't think the baby will suffer that much. Car boot? Freecycle?
As for the payments made, get in touch with your banks and/or paypal - once you have their response you will be able to decide on the way forward.0 -

they may, but for £800 - £1200 they could get a pram and a LOT more baby essentials too.
Anyway, each to their own, good luck with getting the money back and good luck with the newborns!!0 -
You've been given advice in post 3. That's all you can do. Contact the payment method provider. See what they say.
It will be different for everyone, how they funded, when, dates, amounts, etc.
Fraud? That's for the administrators to look into and decide accordingly.
Also if that's your facebook group, it's sailing very close to the wind of being libellous and potentially threatening to a potentially an innocent party.0 -

Some people want Bugaboos, others want standard McLaren buggies. So what? Where does being loaded preclude the OP from advice?
