I can get to work with Access to Work Taxis, once there I can't get through the Front Door without a Threshold Ramp. They don't have one so two burly workers lift me inside.
Once in (I have to keep going in for 'Reviews') I can't get up to my first floor office, which makes these meetings interesting as that's where the Boardroom is!
I have offered to work in Reception but again this is a 'No'
And I haven't been to that forum yet as I've been applying for jobs over the weekend, due to their cut off date, but I will do so.
If reception is downstairs and could accomidate two people and you would be willing to talk to people as they come through the door and answer the phone when the other receptionist isn't there then I don't see the company being able deem this not reasonable but as I have said its just my view and each situation is unique.
It seems a far better compromise to building a lift which I can understand the employers not wanting to do.

Can't quit the other job as this position is only for 3 months.
If you quit the other job once this temping ends you can legitimately claim JSA saying "contract ended" rather than having the other job being still going but providing no income.
Do others agree there? I don't know if the jobcentre have closed that loophole?0
