• Hi,

I've copied the back page again. i've done it three parts as it's not very clear in one.
They're in the same album. I can't post photos or links to the forum.

Well they are calling it a penalty so it won't go anywhere, and they say they will access the dvla records, which is a lie, the dvla take a very dim view on this, and they can do bring pressure on companies telling such blatant lies. So please complain, and certainly don't contact or pay these idiots

I think you can forget about this - as long as you make NO contact with them.

Get back if you receive any further correspondence. We'll see you through that, but unlikely to happen.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

The OP will need to complain to Trading Standards or ask the DVLA to send a file on to Trading Standards about this rogue ticketer, specifically saying they are in breach of several trading regulations. Email this guy:

david.dunford@dvla.gsi.gov.uk

- the ticket says 'penalty' and uses black/white chequered edging, like the Police, so is wholly misleading and against the CPUTR 2008.
- the ticket says they will get details from the DVLA (they cannot)
- the website allows you to type ANYTHING in as ticket number and car reg and then takes you to Paypal or credit card page where the 'ticket number and car reg' you originally made up is not even carried forward, so no record is made of any payments, it's just a cash cow.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

• Thanks for all the help. You've definately helped put my mind at ease! I'm just going to ignore it :) I will write to the dvla though about the information on the notice.

Great stuff, if you send a copy of the invoice as well to the dvla they will deal with it, copy in trading standards in the same email and see what they actually do

Don't make contact with them, if you hear anything else from these losers than complain heavy
• I got a ticket from same company today. Shall I ignore it or pay the fine. It is the same company and same notice as the images posted earlier. Thanks for the advice.

same advice as given to the previous poster

ignore and complain to the dvla if its a postal pcn

its not a fine because neither a judge nor a court imposed it, only they can issue fines
