T mobile website upgrade question

The t mobile website shows that u can have an upgrade to iphone 5s on a good deal but it errors when I try to process it, I phoned them and they said it looked like a web only deal. I hadn't tried to process when I spoke to them was just enquiring about the offer. Only found they error after I spoke to them.

Do they have to offer me this deal over the phone if it won't work on the website? It's a great deal so I think it must be a mistake, I really want to get it but don't know if there is anyway I can if it won't process online.

Does anyone know where I'd stand on this? Anything to do with trading standards etc that I can mention to them re offering me the deal online but website malfunctioning by not completing order?

They can charge different prices online/phone/in store if they wish. So it may well be on online only offer.

Have you tried using the live chat function? They may be able to do it through that.

Asked on chat and they said to ring customer services, but they had already told me that they won't do web only deals over the phone.

Think I'd better just ring them again.

Never upgrade online. Always go through cancellations and squeeze the best deal you can get from them.

Although if you have your heart set on an iPhone then there won't be much room for negotiation on the price.
