Try this instead, send via their systems, and through the post office with a free proof of postage

    Nice one, thanks.

When you say 'via their systems' do you mean to email the head office of the store (as I was doing) ?

I'll let you know how i get on.

No this is just for parking eye, their systems I mean their online form via their website

    Ok, so:-

    1) Send parking eye a hard copy of the letter (along with scanned receipts) via post office - with proof of postage.

    2) Send the same information electronically via their website.

    3) Send an email to the store, detailing my disgust, and attaching a copy of the above letter and receipts.

    Is that right?

Yep that sums it up really. Look at the successful complaints sticky thread at the top of the forum for inspiration on what to put to the shop.

Just to chip in - ParkingEye cancel over 50% of tickets during the appeal process (according to themselves) so this will likely be cancelled by them as spending £x at the retailer is widely believed to be in their contracts

Even if parking eye cancel, and the parking eye equipment/signage system remains on site unchanged, continue to complain to the store/retailer/site owner asking them what they are going to do about the parking eye problem on their site so that this situation will never occur again.

Well done to you :) one letter and saved £90 or so! That is the power of the mse site, that is the positive power of the net. The payment due is to tell people about this scam, and to come here for help :)
