Recieved a letter £70 for parking at aldi

wow is this the new easy moneymaker these days is it?
received a letter from these vultures regarding overstaying in the car park by 27 minutes, I was there with my granddaughter and daughter to buy groceries now have got to pay extra on top of that it seems, it goes without saying Aldi have now lost any future custom from myself or my family. where do i go from here? ive read countless threads on several different sites, I am based in Scotland if it makes any difference. The car park was empty and im sure any of you know how long nipping to the shops takes when you've got an inquisitive toddler in tow. I did shopping in aldi at the time but not sure if ive still got the receipt as you don't expect things like this to happen.
thanks in advance for any advice

Post on their Facebook page, they hate that. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Is the Aldi in question in Scotland? I know you are based there but just to clarify.
POPLA does not apply to Scotland, other means of beating them applies.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
Read the sticky threads on this, but in general as there is no keeper liability in Scotland or pofa 2012 the advice is to ignore unless they send a letter before claim, it's highly unlikely to happen as they don't know who to claim against, unless you tell themWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

just a standard canned reply saying its for their customers benefit blah blah?
is it worth emailing them0 -
Yes it's always worth complaining, just attach your receipt and demand they cancel this ticketWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.

Hi,Aldi have now lost any future custom from myself or my family. where do i go from here?
you could try Tesco, Lidl, Morrisons, but beware, they also have limits on parking.
Don't think Aldi will be closing down your local store because you and your family are going to boycott it.0
