Roku box or Now tv?

I'm looking into these boxes and wondering which is best to go for.
The main draw for the roku for me is the fact that you can watch netflix and not just sky movies. Does anyone know how much the monthly subscription would be for netflix? I can't find any costs on either or their websites. Same question for sky movies ... I know it's £8.99 on the now tv box.
Also does the roku box have much better channels?
Thanks

Standard monthly pricing (Netflix £5.99; Sky Movies £8.99) will apply to the Roku box (I checked this on my Roku LT).
You can browse a selection of Netflix's offer here (a link from the Netflix Help Centre).
The Roku box allows access to a vast array of free (and paid) channels that are not available on the Now TV box. Some of them are minority interest (there are over 100 Religious and Spirituality channels), but there are also many free film channels, for example, that are not available via the Now TV Box.
Both are value for money, in my view, but the Roku box is a whole lot more fun if you can afford the higher initial outlay, as it provides access to the whole array of channels rather than the limited number (less than 10% by my estimation) available via the Now TV box.
There's an earlier thread here that may also help.0 -
Thanks for that great reply!
Will check out those links.
If going for the roku box I was looking at the number 3 one which is £100 so obviously a lot more but the features seem good.

You're welcome.
There's also an "at-a-glance" comparison (with the specs below) of the Roku boxes at
http://www.roku.com/uk/choose-your-roku that might help clarify the differences.0
