Ring them up and ask them.
It should not be a big deal.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -
Floflo, Im considering a Tesco mobile contract, can you tell me what the coverage is like and what kind of phone you have.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Just ring up and ask for a new sim card, think I did it via online chat. Your new sim will be your old number and original contract. Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama0

We're in S Wales and have been using tesco mobile sim in a blackberry (DDs phone) for 2 years and in 2 iPhone 4s for the last 6 months £7.50 capped contracts. I find the coverage and speed slightly better than orange - no problems at all.
The phone we are changing is DDs blackberry, she is changing to a Nokia Lumia hence the need for a micro sim. She was hoping it was something they could do instore but I guess we will have to send off for one.0 -
I suggest you phone and ask if they can do it instore if not then order a new one to be sent, it literally only takes a couple of days to send one out.Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama0

Coverage will be the same as o2. What coverage the OP gets in S. Wales will have nothing to do with what you get in N. Yorkshire. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Quickest way is to go into a Tesco phone shop and ask them for a micro sim - they can give you one then phone up customer services and they can change your number over to it within a couple of hours.0

I just changed my phone and Carphonewarehouse just used a sim cutter on the standard sized sim and chopped it down to size in about 5 seconds.
As I had purchased the phone from them they did it for free otherwise it's £4.99. In your case an alternative option is to get a micro sim from Tesco and then get them to switch your number across from one sim to another. I'm on 3 and there is an online option to request such a change.
Another option is to go into a local shop and get them to cut it down while you wait.
Just ensure you have copied your numbers from the phone to the sim before they cut the sim down in size as this makes it easier when setting up your new phone.0 -
I went instore to the phoneshop they gave me a new micro sim, then i had to phone up to transfer my old number to the new sim.
was very straight forward.0 -

Tesco Mobile uses the coverage map of its partner o2.
