I think the no 7 range is for the older person, at 15 I would say the no 17 range is more appropriate.
There is a nivea lip care set and a veaseline lip care set around £5 that would be good presents.
As you've said no aerosols, a diy set
-fluffy socks
-nail polish
-nail wraps
- make up brushes
-face masque
Good luck xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Barry M is a nice cheap v funky range of nail varnish - you can buy this magnetic polish for only £3.33. I had to Google exactly what magnetic polish is but looks like great fun!

My 15 year old DD would be pleased with no 7 nail varnish and has gifted it herself to other friends in the past. No 7 is more expensive than some other brands mentioned and nail varnish is a great gift!0

I don't think so anyway. Its not a cool brand and whilst I don't think a teenager would be actively ungrateful, its definitely in the zzzzzz category . 15 year olds would prefer Benefit, No.17, Rimmel, or Sleek... brands like that.
TBH if No.7 was a perfume it would be Tweed, Chic or L'Aimant ...dated, very 70s, unhip and forgettable.
Thanks, I did kind of think this. Will give the no7 set to stepdaughter as a stocking filler (she is 17 and doesn't worry about what brand something is) and I have ordered both an impulse set (body wash and so on, not aerosols) and a lip balm set and when they come I will pick which is nicest and again give the other to stepdaughter as a stocking filler (don't feel bad for stepdaughter - she is getting loooooads of good presents!)0 -

It is sparkly nail polish in colours like gold, green and plum - things few adults would wear so I suspect it was created with a teenage audience in mind!
However I won't take the risk and, as mentioned in my post above, will give the no7 to someone else.0 -
I also was thinking of the Ladies Lynx set.0

Am I the only one that feels uneasy about a teacher buying a 15 year old a present? I'm sure it's something that's always been done in your school and not thought too much about but having done a lot of safeguarding training I'm wondering if it's a good idea? Sorry to put a downer on a thread with lots of helpful adviceLBM Jan 2011, Debt Free Sept 2017 - best feeling ever0

its secret santa - names in a hat pulled out at random and you buy a pressie for that person, and they don't know who its from. Whats to get uneasy about that?
How is it any different from any teacher up and down the land giving christmas pressies to their class pupils, or end of year pressies?0 -
I just feel it's a bit more personal than giving, for example, every child a chocolate bar or a pen. But I see what you mean. Just trying to protect the OP really.LBM Jan 2011, Debt Free Sept 2017 - best feeling ever0
