£5 gift for a 15 year old girl

Any suggestions?

I am part of my form's Secret Santa so I need to buy a £5 gift for a 15 year old girl. The girl I have pulled out the hat is one of the most quiet members of the form and I really know very little about her likes and dislikes so it will need to be a fairly generic gift.

When I have been involved in the past I have bought a funky notebook but I think they are getting a bit too old for that sort of thing now. I have a nice no7 nail varnish set hanging around as an emergency gift, but I don't know if no7 is 'cool' for 15 year olds?

Please help! :)

Thank you. This would be a great idea if not for the fact that our school has a VERY strict rule against aerosols due to some pupils with severe respiratory problems. The first thing they do when they open their presents on the last day is break them out and use them or play with them so I don't want her to get in trouble for having an aerosol in school (which is an offence that would get you suspended due to the severity of the risk it poses)! It was a good idea though.

Thanks - suspect they are a bit old for 1D and hair clips but nail varnish seems like a good bet....do you think a no7 nail varnish set would be ok or is it way too uncool?

What about one that has a shower gel and body cream in? Just realised in tesco the other day I saw a Vaseline lip gloss set that was a big round tin with a couple. Of smaller ones in side. Gift sets are half price in tesco ATM so might be able to get a bar of chic to go with it or similar.

Don't have to buy it from Very, it's everywhere, Tesco, ASDA, etc. I've bought three of these for ages between 20 and 50, it's a nice little set.

Ooh that looks lovely. They are all obsessed with applying lip balm twenty times an hour so something like that should be a good bet!

    how about

A mug and some hot chocolate
    An intial key ring
    some woolly tights
a pair of christmas socks or the nice thick chunky knit type ones
a bath bomb or some bubble bath
Shampoo and conditioner in a smaller size
Something chocolatey from somewhere like hotel chocolate
Some krispy creme vouchers or even a small box of christmas cupcakes.

Its very difficult when schools do the secret santa thing...ans somehow everyone ends up opening very similar presents...the morning is full of generic gift sets or tins of quality street IME...
sometimes ive found that the best presents are those that perhaps have a home made element to them or at least a bit of creativity when wrapping them.
