is there any free anti virus i can download.
my norton has ran out can't get one just yet as they are expensive,Is there one i can dowenload for free to protect my com for now?

    Martin did write an entire article on this! Look for AVG or Avast. Just make sure you use Norton's removal tool from their website to clear everything before installing a new AV.

    Sorry for sounding dumb how do i remove the Norton?
    do i go to Norton site to remove or wiill it be on the AVG site to remove?

    Download AVG or Avast first. Run Norton Removal Tool from http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039
    Probably worth rebooting. Then install AVG or Avast.
