Tea - ham/semi bendy tomatoes and spaghetti.
Meal planning rocks.
Miles - less than 2 weathers rubbish.
Bedding washed and gently drying in the house.
Not done banks yet - decluttered two boxes of books to a chums kids
Sorted some clothes for the charity shop tomorrow.
Still doing some work emails etc.
Read something really lovely about introversion today which made me feel slightly human and embracing my inner bubble.
Made me smile.
I hope you're all good lovely to hear such good news on mojo's from RT - I think I need to do banks and sort myself out for tomorrow.
EH thank you for the contact lens info - and I do like hugh furry whotsit too but I think I've only one of his books so far. And I'm not sure he'd fit in the bed at the momentTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

MY fruit pad lives and is being fixed for a modest amount for which I am truly grateful.
Sometimes towing corporate lines regarding warranties/insurance premiums and alike doesn't pay off - independent repairer, much less than the insurance excess and I get my own special gadget fixed rather than throwing it on a heap and getting the latest model.
I'm a happy gal, except I didn't check email yesterday properly or I'd have known then rather than now.
Far too efficient these wee independent types
Shows it pays to think outside the box and not just replace things just cos you can/they say that's all they'll do to help.
And also - don't forget you're listening to the radio (on the fruit pad) whilst you're so immersed in a garden programme that you get inspired to not only plant but finish the finale by watering your tomatoes - its not clever. Nor very mse - a hundredweight of posh tomatoes would have been cheaper.

Yawns dreadful nights sleep - there's a sick bug going about and whilst I'm not sick, I'm not feeling much better than green.
Early wakening by robbers (DD) needing jeans which weren't in my room, texts and phone calls.
Today I'm a sleepy and bleurgh.early meeting and then a walk and then perhaps bed I think.

Is this "those" jeans? The ones you have been known to helpfully take out for walks when DD's not about?! :rotfl:
Hope you're feeling green in fingers only now - and not in any other parts xx

In bed - still green but alive. Not sure caulicheese for tea helped much now I feel like I've a giant block of fondue sitting on my chest.
Thanks for the healing vibes KC.:AFortune_Smiles wrote: »Oooh, just found your lovely diary - subscribes immediately and looks forward to hearing about chook plans.

Oh thank you very much, its a very lovely place indeed and you're very welcome along on the adventuremy chooks - well there will be somewhere between 4 and 6 initiallly I think, that's a good number of chooks, enough for a decent chat but not so many that when they're all on the doorstep you can't get out.

**gentle hugs**not those jeans - whistles.
Who says being 45 and wearing you 17 year olds jeans isn't sometimes a bit of a hoot - especially when they've been 'teenagerish' and you wish to rack sweet revenge.

So I went and blew the rest of the months budget on loo roll - I've got 16p left for food.
And remember I'm already cracked into Decembers money with that reduced stuff.
I'm sure we'll live. We have brains in our heads and feet in our shoes and milk in the freezer.
Must do banks and look at flights for NY
Today, so far a NSD, mutts walked enroute to meeting (expensed petrol) must tot up expenses for month and hand in on Friday.

Lost post gadzooks.
Hmm - what did it say PAD to card £30
Anyone got any simple stock suggestions - I've been using cubes (when I have them) and bones when I get them (not human, obviously but ex-chooky dinners or ham hock bones) the latter of those are hard to find I can only find them in the co-op - ? Although not trawled all the butchers yet.
I read Nigella uses other folks bones (takes home after dinner any scraps) and Nadia G (!!!!!in kitchen) asks butchers for extra chicken off cuts/bones.
What do you guys recommend for a decent stock. I know veggies use carrot bones and celery bonesbut the perfect tasty frugal stock?
(I know GP being vegetarian and very frugal in the extreme uses a stone- metaphorically obviously)

 Only on 'high days' and holidays I'll have you know! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Have you seen Memory Girl's recipe for bouillon on her blog? I've only made one batch - purely because I bagged a Florence fennel YS'd in MrW at the tale end of the summer. It's OK.
Do you watch that Nadia G? That is one cookery prog I always turn over or turn off. Not sure if it is her fake accent or the jewellery that does it.
Hope you are getting better by the moment.
