Or is it yet another case of you not being able to substantiate what you claim?
You've been asked on several threads to do so and NEVER done so.
Why is that? Because it's what you do!
Cue you replying with TROLL, PPR, ABUSE, MSE users knowing nothing blah, blah blah etc often in capital letters. You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0 -
If a person can be identified from a recorded call then it IS data within the meaning of the DPA and a copy must be provided if a subject access request is made.0

I just rang them and spoke to the Head of the ICO and he said it is covered. I have no evidence but that doesn't matter..0 -

A PHONE CALL SO NO EVIDENCE. just because you are on MSE does not mean you know everything.0 -

Ok.. but what this advisor "told you" contradicts what they publish on their site. It is more likely the advice given was wrong. As a data controller I suggest you look into it.
Many people on here have successfully obtained telephone conversations under a subject access request.0 -

As a matter of interest what proof do you have of this? I'm not saying you're wrong but you're all implying that earthstorm is making this up as he has no proof of what he was told.
However the only proof you have that MSE posters have got their phone conversations is based on their posts. There's no proof they have actually obtained it. It's as unsubstantiated as anything earthstorm has said. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I'd agree with you that this is as unsubstantiated as earthstorm's posts however krisdorey already posted a link which answers the question.
It is in complete agreement with what I had been told around six years ago when I started working for a bank and they went through the DPA (and SARs.). That being that telephone recordings ARE included in an SAR.0
