Still going back to the lion and gazelle.
As much as the gazelle don't want to be part of the lions activities they are also powerless to stop it.
The gazelle that sticks up for it gazelle mate which is being chased is a dead gazelle.
I have no interest in pointless discussions about lions and gazelles but I do have concerns about the poor provision of housing in the UK and what practical steps can be taken to improve it.0 -
Percy, you're clearly passionate about this issue - what exactly are you doing about it? It would be interesting to know how a highly ethical person approaches this problem.
It can't just be limited to pointing out what a nice guy you are and looking down your nose at the rental sector..or can it?0 -

I think this is rather more representative to be honest:
I was thinking more tapeworm but a fair comparison.FACT.0 -

Just thought of another interesting match to the whole Lion and Gazelle.
I t appears i was the Gazelle who stood up and challenged and look how the Lions tried to rip strips from.
This included a negative post about me which has been proven 100% false and made up just to make me look bad, still not had an apology for that one...Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

The only reason we know about your superior ethics therefore is because you've told us so. It's a good job you did tell us because there's nothing, based on actions, that differentiates you from just about everyone else.
You could do plenty of things - depends how passionate you are..
- write to your MP
- demand that the council build more houses for people that can't afford to buy
- write articles for the local paper
- start a blog
- start a Youtube channel
- design stickers to put on for sale boards (BTL not welcome)
- arrange demos outside estate agents demanding they only sell to owner occupiers
- club together with a group of like minded friends, buy a BTL, and rent it out for the same price as a council house
You could make a difference.0 -

Takes it to market and sells it,
Uses that money to take out a 95% FTB mortgage from barclays bank
And becomes a proud homeowner rather than having to sit under a tree for shade0 -

Not if all the gazelle charge the lion amd take a bite out of him each. Like parana fish only more comical.
BTL landlords don't control supply your council does. The council is the lion eating all the renter gazelle. BTL landlords are the grass the gazelle dependds on, some patches of grass are of course more fair and nutritious0 -

Or
Build a house
Buy some attack dogs for when the council sends planners to disapprove
Unleash attack dogs onto said planners who look on gleefully as a sub contractor (who will bill you in due course) bulldozes your home
Evade police
Dress up as a clown and join a circus to hide your identity
Lots of realistic options really0 -

Importing some lions might do the trick, it might take them a few days to realise there are no gazelles0
