I ordred a phone and contract from mobilephonesdirect last week and parcelforce tried to deliver last Friday 8th Nov. I wasn't in but they left a card and I rescheduled delivery for the following Tuesday.
However, the phone never arrived and I've since found out it's been lost at the depot. I've been trying daily since then to resolve by calling MPD and I'm getting nowhere. They keep telling me a manager there will call me back but they never do. Also, their customer services number is 0844 which doesn't help when you're kept waiting for a minimum of 30mins each time if they answer at all.

I don't want to pay for line rental from the 8th Nov as I haven't even got the phone. I spoke to the network provider who suggest I take it up with MPD which I have, they're just not resolving it!

  • Put it in writing without delay. Then at least you can prove later that you cancelled within 7 days and notified them that you didn't receive the phone.
