    I'm similar: I'm 37 and husband is 33 (no children)

    Income: 70K, his 40K

    Total assets:
    Home: 350K (mortgage: 280K) Would love to get this down!
    Buy to Let: 260K (mortgage: 150K)
    Cash Savings: 16K
    Shares: 1K

    We both have defined benefit pensions so don't really know how to value them to include here

    Income: whatever I can generate, plus around £6k from other sources.

    Total roughly £1.3m, but joint.

    Completely mortgage and debt free. Low monthly income, but still managing to live within my means and put a couple of hundred each month into S&S ISA.

    Currently looking to carry on until reaching state pension age, then assess options.
