Not a fan of slow drivers staying on the right lane either.0

Or the Highway Code it seems.0

Remaining in the fast lane at 70 mph until the slow lane is clear?0

You drivers are an annoyance then if you're doing a steady 70 mph there is no need to be on the slower lane - I only go onto the slow lane if someone is behind me who wants past me.
No wonder traffic is at a stand-still at times with the above attitudes.
There is no slow lane - there is the left hand lane for normal driving and the right hand lane for overtaking - read the highway code.
Although considering that on M1 and M2 the left hand lane actually turns into a slip road - staying in the left hand lane is not always avisable!Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0 -

Partly my point.
I don't understand why remaining in the fast/right/70 mph/overtaking lane for a prolonged period of time is a problem if the other lane contains an endless stream of traffic doing well under 70 mph?0 -

Firstly, thats a variation on what you said earlier BUT, you should remain in the left hand lane (there is no slow or fast lane) at a speed up to 70MPH. Should you come across slowing moving traffic, you may chose to overtake the traffic, using the overtaking lane, whilst remaining within the speed limit. You should then return to the left hand lane at the earliest opportunity.
People like you bombing along unnecessarily in the "fast lane" cause risk to those using the motorway correctly.0 -

Contradicting yourself -
if you only use the overtaking lane when there are cars in the right hand lane and you are going faster than them - you are actually overtaking, and if you go into the left hand lane when there are no cars for you to overtake then thats ok,
but if you drive in the overtaking lane the whole time when no one is looking past regardless of if you are overtaking the cars in the "slow lane" - then that is not as the highway code saysWeight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0 -
I don't agree wih your points above, I think they cause undue problems and slow traffic down - I think we'll have to agree to disagree on this.0

If you are using the overtaking lane to pass slower moving traffic and then returning to the left hand lane at the first opportunity, then you are using the lanes correctly.
If you are bombing along at 70MPH in the outside lane because you view it as "the fast lane" with the left hand lane being the "slow lane" for people doing 60mph and under, then you are NOT using the lanes correctly, and are likely to be a hazard to yourself and other road users.0
