UKCPS Parking Charge Notice appeal or ignore?

If you look at £27 + vat as a percentage of a £60 parking charge it is over 50%
You do not have to be a financial genius to work that any company facing a 50% drop in it revenue plus having to pay staffing and office costs answering hundreds of POPLA appeals is going to go bust within months.
They do not file 50% profit margins, so do the sums.Be happy...;)0 -

Also read his other blogs, hilarious stuff going back months!
Bear in mind the figures about wins/losses at POPLA there, means across the Country including all the poor suckers who write a normal appeal about their permit slipping of the dashboard, etc. Our success rate at POPLA has been a solid 100% success with ALL advice given on here going back as far as Easter. One person lost when they or POPLA appeared to lose page 2 of their appeal but the full 5 point appeal would have won, we know, so the lack of a staple to hold the appeal firmly together would have been the OP's problem and didn't dent the 100%.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Yea good point it is certainly worth to go for the POPLA appeal.

@Coupon-mad After posting I noticed that you beat me a minute to it. Anyway I will leave my post to show even better that this link is certainly is a good read0 -
This is interesting information to know.
Like you say even if only to cost them it is worth to go to POPLA my thinking as well
BTW: Could you link me to the details of their costs and POPLA? I seen people mentioning this cost on the forum though never found a link to it. I would like to read more about this.
Thanks for that.
You might want to read the link below.
£27 + VAT is the basic amount the PPC has to pay for each POPLA appeal. But there is an even greater cost, borne by the BPA, but ultimately reflected in the fees the PPC has to pay for their membership of it.
Rest safe in the knowledge that your appeal is going to cost them far more that 27 notes!
