cannot sign in error

everytime i try to sign in to ebay today it says cannot find username/email

i have tried to resend info which it said was sent but nothing received

has my account been hacked

need help asap as have a lot selling and ending tonight

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. I'm getting exactly the same problem. Looks like it's the usual Friday Ebay glitch. I've tried to click to bring up descriptions of items but that doesn't work either.

It shouldn't be beyond the realms of Ebay's technical dept to actually say that you can't sign in due to maintenance rather than get everyone panicing when it says that your ID or Password is invalid.

I've just had a problem with my PC so naturally I was thinking the worst.

Panicked for a while then till i saw this as i listed loads yesterday and saying my account didnt exist this morning. Panic over then will wait till after 9am.

I bet ebay blame the user when these things happen.

I used to leave ebay logged in 24/7. But then they started logging me out. They blamed my connection. My computer, Me and everything under the sun...

Then a few weeks later it rolled out that you cannot stay logged in for more than 24 hours. So they tell lies...

I never look at my eBay account early Friday mornings.

I've never had the problem described in this thread, but I've experienced other glitches, which have worried me, until I tried again after 9am
