Very true (and yes I have been), but those are the reports that the Gadget Show are giving.
If you look at the current series, they did a feature on smart TVs - not what the OP was after, and the ones they used were 47" or bigger.
The Panasonic beat a Philips and a Samsung
To say that Panasonic are the best across the board because in one test one particular model beat two other particular models is a bit of a stretch. Which is why in my earlier post I said the best thing to do was to compare like with like and see them side by side.1. Have you tried to Google the answer?

Had a look at picture quality in tescos the other day - the Panasonic was far more detailed than the other (samsungs, lg etc) tellies on display. A sweaty lady was on view after doing some gymnastics - on the Panasonic you could clearly see beads of perspiration on her brow; the other tv's you couldn't see any.
I've been looking for a new tv and found the picture quality in shops is dire making it impossible to compare picture quality.0 -

Yep "shop mode" is horrible. Spend about 3 hours in John Lewis looking at TVs not long ago, had no problem getting them to hand me the remotes (it was a weekday) of the models I was considering so at least I could see what the picture was like once the settings were reasonable (and the wizardry turned off)
OP: out of the 3 you've listed, I'd go for the 1st one (as already mentioned, this one's full HD 1080p whilst the others are not)Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -

Bears out what was said on the Gadget Show I watched the other day; Panasonic winning overall.
I'd buy one (had I any money!)
Careful comparing TVs in stores, they have a different set up option for display purposes, rather than home viewing.0 -
