She would have loved the birdfeeder but doesn't have a garden, however I know someone who would like that for christmas hopefully they will still have some in next week.
Just wanted to pop back and say that they still had plenty in my Aldi today. I bought one for my friend too.:) One word of caution, although they all look the same they have three types: one for fat balls, one for seeds and one for nuts. I wanted the seed one as I'm going to buy seed from the £ shop. Just so that you get the one you plan.0 -
Hi,
I know it's moving away from your original question, but if you still have xmas presents to get for teenage girls/trendy ladies i suggest looking on ebay under "retro necklace" and filter by products less than 99p, with free delivery and by ending soonest (last one optional but i do it
)
Most of the necklaces come from China but i've ordered a heart watch necklace and red heart jewel necklace both for less than a pound and am really pleased. The watch necklace was the exact same one i'd seen in a "vintage" shop for £8. Wrapped in some tissue paper and put in a pretty box and bingo!
Hope it helps (and my ramblings make sense):rudolf: DF by Xmas 2018: #83 £8,250/£15,000 55% :rudolf:

Buy 3 then return 2 for refunds

I worked in Boots last Xmas and we had to do complicated maths to make sure the 3 for 2 wasn't being scammed! I must admit that most of us didn't have a clue how we should work it out so we just refunded the cost of the items. I think it was meant to be broken down into thirds?0 -

I popped into tesco as no car parking charge there
I got a simple gift set in a nice bag for £3.50 (half price) and some half price chocolates for £1.50. Looks a nice little gift certainly more than £5 worth especially if I wrap it up pretty.
I don't know if its just me but I as lovely as the boots stuff is I refuse to buy just one item as I know I am paying over the odds when its 3 for 2 and unfortunately I don't have the spare cash to get anything else, bad time of the month all my Direct debits come out tomorrow and I only found out about the birthday yesterday.
I also got the simple set in a case, as ex m-I-l has a birthday early Dec, so I got one set for her birthday and the other for Christmas.
Glad my suggestion helped xxx0 -
lots of toiletry sets in Tesco half price atm.
I totally misread this as 'Lots of toilet seats in Tesco half price atm'. I'm a bit of an 'older lady' myself, and caught myself thinking 'Well THAT'S not very nice. I might not be so young any more, but I don't really think I should get a toilet seat as a present, half price or not. I'd be happier with a bottle of wine'...:rotfl:Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0
