well if it is gprs and doesnt need to be connected to anything then excellent, you might not get connection problems like i did. maybe you can email them or if they are missing information they will usually ring youCompers challenge 2024 wins!!!!.... I received my shop and scan equipment. Yesterday I set it up and used it for the first time. I have watched their cd and viewed their website but I cannot find any information about receipts, nor can I find any specific information regardng how to earn points except some general information on possible ways to earn points.
Could someone please inform me do I need to keep receipts and if so, do I email the receipts to them or what? Also, where can I find out information about how many points I can expect to earn for entering all my shopping details? Btw I have emailed them this evening but obviously it is too early to expect a response.
Is this anything to do with the fact that I reside in Northern Ireland?0 -
I hope you don't mind me asking but what is this scanner thing and how do you get involved with it? Thank you0

Visit their website and complete the online application form. If you read this thread it may make more sense to you. There is also this thread on the referrers board.

I've been invited to join Shop and Scan:

Has anyone any experience of doing this? I can't help but wonder if it isn't all a bit onerous for the equivalent of about a quid a week0 -
Hi, I have been doing shop and scan for a few years now. You get 450 points per month. 1000 equals a £10 voucher. You do get bounus points at christmas, birthdays and 1 year after you sign up. There is also a monthly draw with the top prize £100 in vouchers which I was lucky to win once.0

on top of that we have someone in our house doing their 'food to go' - text whenever you have a snack thing which you get invited to
that seems to be paying out about £1 a day0 -
I have been doing Shop and Scan for years now. Started with doing the basic scanning. Then got invited to go 'food on the go' which gives me most of my points as you get 1,000 each week plus 200 points for each text you send. I also got asked to upload my shopping recipt each week for another 500 points. Then asked to join the petrolpanel so uploading petrol bought details 2,500 points a month, and every so often I get asked to complete a food diary for 2 weeks, 20,000 points! So yes, very worth it!0

I've been with Shop & Scan a couple of years now. It takes very little time to scan your shopping and then once a week upload your receipts and barcodes. The points quickly add up and can be used for a variety of rewards.
There is a long running thread for Shop & Scan on the 'Freebies (No spending required)' board which is worth looking at - link below.
