Free calls to mobiles via 0870/0845 with talktalk?

Options
Hi all,

I am looking for one of those sites which offer reduced call rates to mobiles by first ringing an 0870 or 0845 number, as these are included free with talktalk in the evenings and weekends.

So far I have only been able to find 0844 and 0843 numbers, does anyone know some that offer a service via these numbers?

Thanks.

You won't find any such working 0870 numbers any more since revenue sharing was banned on them several years ago. I might be wrong, but I don't think that 0845 numbers generate sufficient income to pay for an onward call to a UK mobile.

If their ever was any 0870 indirect access numbers that gave you calls to UK Mobiles, their are none anymore ever since revenue sharing on that numbering range was stopped, and i certainly have not heard of an 0845 one.

In any case Talk Talk dont allow indirect access numbers to be called from the 0845/0870 inclusive minutes.

For an investment of £5 a month you can get 1000 minutes to UK Mobiles anytime.

  • Most new T-Mobile contracts include calls to ALL 08 numbers as part of their bundle. I've been making full use of them for about 15 months.

As the bundle will also include calls to mobiles, that's interesting for other circumstances but not really an answer to this question.

I wouldnt go as far as saying most. They have recently stopped allowing them from sim only deals.:D
  • It would seem that the only network which gives inclusive calls to 0870, 0800, 0845, 0844, 0871 ect is Virgin mobile on their premier/ VIP tariff. I have made calks to all 08 numbers and have not been changed for any Even 0871.
