Is my Virgin Mobile Secure?Texts Missing!
Options
Has my security been compromised?
I purchased a new PAYG Sim card/phone from Virgin 9 months ago. The new number was "stolen" from me in July (according to Virgin). because they said I had not registered it....but I had.
I was told to revert to my old V number and they transferred everything (credit's/texts) to my old number and promised my security had not been compromised.
The number that was "stolen" according to V had been taken by someone on another network but V could not explain how/why although I still have the Sim card. In the last few days that number has been activated with what I think is an Arabic voice mail and at the same time all the texts from July onwards have disappeared. As if they have been transferred back to the stolen number.
I did not delete them and although they are mostly between family and friends there are some that have personal details on. Should I contact Virgin again?. My faith in them is not good at the moment:mad: (I have taken the battery/Sim out to re-boot the phone but with no success).
