It must be some cat if the amount of urine it produces can make the slightest difference in the level of water in a bath.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

a cat that`s hung like a horse , a sight for sore eyes
Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

I presume you & OH aren't sleepwalking? (Tricky in your case, I know!)

Try the "container under the tap/shower" test and let us know what happens. I'm now as curious as you!

  • I'm a bit confused by the filling the bath to stop the cat from running around it during the night. Can you not just shut the bathroom door to stop the cat from going in the bathroom?

I know that's not the actual problem here, but everyone has suggested how to find the source of the leak.

I don't know about LadyM's set up .... but in one house, I've had the cat litter tray located in the bathroom so would leave it open all night for their use.

Teleporting in at night and amazed at our primitive earth taps! Coming back night and after night with their little green friends to see the long since obsolete water management technology!
