I could have done with that pound last night as I didn't have one for the supermarket trolley - that obviously explains today's dip in shares [1] as it meant I had to use a basket and poor Mr Tesco was left with less than five pounds of my hard earned money.

[1] Assuming there is one, I have no idea.
