Is there a way of getting daily / weekly emails for various deals??

Yes, you can subscribe to individual threads, at the top of this thread click thread tools > subscribe. You'll get email notifications.
You can also subscribe to the forum by going into the main board and clicking forum tools.

I've set it up as a RSS feed - don't fully understand it and it's the only feed I use, but it works for me and there's no emails clogging up my inbox! I just check it once a day and all the new posts are there in a row for me to look at
I just put this URL in the RSS site:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/external.php?type=rss2&forumids=36

I have no idea! I think I just searched in Google Reader and hit lucky... when Google Reader shut down I just copied and pasted the URL into NetVibes and it worked!Nic :cool:

Use Feedly to read your RSS feeds on the iPad. It's on the app store, but not sure if you can add an RSS feed through the app, you may need to do that on the web interface.
For other RSS feeds for the forums tweak the forum number at the end of the feed. If you check the URL of the sub forum you want that should give you the right number, been reading them on Google and Feedly for a few years, much easier.0 -
