What's good/cheap at B&M?
Comments

Looking on their website , some of their stores are described as "bargain stores" others as "home stores" - but I cannot see anywhere that says what the difference is . Any ideas ?0

I find the sauce mixes in jars (good dates) are really cheap in B&M, although check Home Bargains too. The Baxters or Crosse & Blackwell soups can sell for as little as 39p & up to 79p, but still cheaper than anywhere else. Look out for breakfast cereals too as they can be quite cheap.0

Thanks everyone0

I needed a rear windscreen wiper (well I'd needed it for years) and got a pack of 2 16" wipers for 99p. It didn't bend around the window so was useless, however I now have two small emergency front wipers!0

Also look out for any Bonners products. I steered clear of them for a while as I hadn't heard of the brand and expected something cheap and nasty inside the tins! I was then told that Bonners are a kind of "clearing house" and put their own labels on supermarket "finest" products they have bought in bulk. I have had chicken soup, tomato soup, luxury fish pie sauce, cocktail sausage and mushroom sauce so far and been very pleased with the quality. And the soups are only 29p!!!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

They sell cans of sunmagic orange juice for 39p, they also do cranberry juice for I think 59p. Bottles of becks are 79p. They do red wine 187cl size 99p. They have some baileys just now, caramel I think its 7.99 for 70cl.
2 tins of mussels for a quid. I actually prefer home bargains as its a bit cheaper but I do go into B and M now and then, both excellent shops.0 -
I bought mint baileys in there a couple of weeks ago . Only £4.99 a bottle , short dated so needed to be drunk quickly . That was not a problem !!!0

So i am wondering if you could all share your 'What's hot and What's not' suggestions for what to buy.
I presume they do food as well as household stuff, but feel free to jump in with suggestions for ANYTHING.
Thanks
