Parking eye/supermarket pcn help :-(

I have read so many threads on here i do not know what to do and would be grateful for some guidance as for one not a good letter writer.
Received a PCN from parking eye 8 days after my disabled mother and i went shopping in *&^$ supermarket.
After reading forum went to see supermarket manager with receipts from previous visits (as i could not find the said date receipt) disabled badge and letter explaining disability.
I was told that the receipts i had were only basket items and i would need to have spent £80.00 to which i said i do not have that sort of money as i am a carer for my mum.
I was also told that it made no difference being disabled or not and send a letter to Parking eye. We were half an hour over.
Reading what others have said about PI am thinking it wont matter what is said they will just take to court.
What should i do please as the more i read the more confused i am getting? Really stressing us out.

First of all, don't stress! It isn't as complicated as it all sounds, despite the horrendous customer service you seem to have received.
Firstly, read the Sticky thread that starts with 'Newbies..' - that will give you all the information that you need.
Can you name the store and location (I'm guessing Aldi - seems to be their sort of approach)? And give us some information in terms of dates of alleged offence and letters received. And also what you have been sent from PE.
Then we can help fully. This is totally winnable, you won't be paying a thing but we need to get some basic facts straight. This is my *anonymous* account on MSE Forums - I post under a different username normally.0 -
Thank you. I have read so many forum articles on this my head is smashed. It was Morrisons over a week ago. Manager at Morrisons said it was a private carpark that Parking eye manage so out of there hands. I have received one PCN 9 days after the alleged parking for 30 mins over the time.0

Very dissapointing from Orrisons there then, I'm sure their CEO would like to hear about this...
I recently took on Morrisons myself and won over an overstay (it was PE too), by emailing their CEO. Take a read of my thread - it was Morrisons themselves who cancelled it - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4774859
Seems like Morrisons are having a bit of a Customer Service disaster this week, as this thread from today shows: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816627
In short, Morrisons are wrong, they CAN get it cancelled. You are well within time for an appeal. The usual advice of appeal to PE to obtain POPLA code applies (covered in my thread above if you need it), but I would say wait until Coupon-Mad replies re: disabled mother as she is the king of disability act appeals on here and will give you much more relevant information than I ever could. This is my *anonymous* account on MSE Forums - I post under a different username normally.0 -
Thank you again. I will wait for Coupon-Mad to respond to how i should start. I have read the two links thank you....just wondering the next stage now.0

Okay a few quick questions please
1) is this England or Wales ?
2) did they send their notice to keeper within 14 days?
3) are you the registered keeper of the car?

Of course, no problem at all.
I am in England and the registered keeper of the vehicle.
The PCN arrived with 14 days.0 -
You can appeal this to parking eye, do this on a number of points
Name
Address
Date
Dear parking eye
As the registered keeper of xxxxx, I am in receipt of your notice to keeper referenced xxxxx dated xxxxx In light of this notice I wish to invoke your appeal process on the following
1) the amount demanded is not a genuine pre-estimate of loss
2) you don't have authority to issue these invoices
3) the signage does not comply with the bpa Code of Practice
4) no reasonable adjustment of the Equality Act 2010
I wish to inform you that the vehicle was carrying a blue badge holder (attached a copy) , you are now under notice that an adjustment must be made under the Equality Act 2010
I expect that charge to be cancelled by return of post, or a popla verification code be supplied so the keeper can appeal on the grounds above, I'm sure you are aware that all appeals on the above are upheld.
Sincerely

Yep just send Stroma's appeal online, the only change was a typo as below it's the Equality Act 2010:4) no reasonable adjustment of the a Equality Act 2010
Attach a copy of the Blue Badge.
And also email a complaint to the Morrisons CEO about this ticket and about the miserable response at the store, pointing out that Morrisons and PE have both broken the Equality Act because the staff member refused to help and to make reasonable adjustments of time - a requirement in law. Refusal is discriminatory. Equality is not about disabled people always being offered 'the same' in terms of time and other factors where they would still 'suffer detriment' as set out in the Act.
The email address of the Morrisons CEO is in post #3 here along with a linked template example of a ranting complaint about Parking Eye, feel free to use some paragraphs from it:

HTH and by the way I think Parking Eye will cancel it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
