Query regarding POFA 2012

No, the creditor is Smart Parking. They are agents for ASDA.
At court one of the contests would be whether Smart have any standing or authority to issue claims in their own name.
What happened when you complained to ASDA?0 -
We prefer POPLA at the moment as it costs them money.
However statistically Ignoring still produces results, it carries the risk of a Court Claim, but these are minuscule on some PPC's and even those that are churning them out are starting to get some right spankings in court.
POPLA appeal is always first advice, but statics do not lie.
The chances of them taking you to court are thousands to one and the chances of them winning a correctly defended case slim and the chances of them defending an appeal if they do win, even worse.Be happy...;)0 -
Hi Redx,
OK - from what I understand from that link, I should still soft appeal to Smart Parking and press hard if they say that it is too late?
Cheers,

Hi bod1467,
I did not complain to ASDA for various reasons which I am not keen on discussing here, as it would potentially help identify me :-)
Cheers,

So get a no-nonsense friend or relative to do the complaint at the Asda CS Desk, holding a copy of the letters with the name & address covered having a moan to the Store manager. Personally I would not hide from complaining even if you are a staff member (or whatever reason that is worrying you).
If not then yep, send an online appeal anyway to Smart. Costs you nowt, do it today, takes minutes. Don't mention the debt collector letters, just send an appeal like we always do, from the keeper.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
