However, I would agree that there is very little evidence that the people working in Branches are dishonest and thieves, or that cash machines steal our money. Absolutely, I'm disgusted by some of the antics that are reported.

In the rare case of a bag egg on the fiddle in the branch network, they are usually rumbled by their local colleagues, and the whistle is blown.

But no-one is suggesting that. My point is that it's grossly prejudiced to start from the standpoint that we are dishonest.

Going on from what I was saying about bad eggs in the branch network.

I was trying to remember how many people I've worked with who were caught with a fiddle.

I've come up with 4 people.

Considering I must have worked with 1000's of people in the last 37 years ......... That is an incredibly low percentage.

That's why it's a very skewed prejudice to start from 'I don't trust bank employees'

I read the first page & a half while i was at work & noticed that the OP didn't get a response to their question & instead got a load of remarks from folk trying to be funny. Wonder if it's actually been answered by now.

Whether you agree with someone or not shouldn't stop you from answering their question properly. There's posters within this thread who i think are in need of a serious attitude adjustment (based on many other threads, not just this one). I would still help them though if they had a question i could answer.
