That makes my May 2011 10.36%.

    Exactly what I got too.

Which means we have been saving for 2.83 years so thats a 3.66% average rate I think.

How come you get more money if your starting day is earlier in the month, than later? If you put in the 11th as starting date compared to the 12th, the calculator gives you an extra £243.

Perhaps it's to do with the date on which the new RPI figures are published each month.
Free the dunston one next time too.

Weirdly the calculator is showing a 0.397% increase on last months figures for me but the page itself states the figures are from 15 April 2014.

Is it that someone has forgotten to update the '15 April 2014' bit but has updated the data behind?

If they ARE the May figures I make that 36months (ish) and a 3.69% rise per annum. Anyone concur?

Edited - its three years not two!! Doh!

The website has now been properly updated (i.e. it now states 20 May 2014) - but as I suspected the data was correct anyway as it hasnt changed in the last couple of days.

Same as me then - i.e. 3.69ish per year.

    Cheers for the confirmation.
