I have been using a PAYG sim for 3 years, i bought it from O2shop. I recently got a new o2 mobile so have the sim with it. Will this work for me? I get the impression that your sim must have been originally supplied with a phone, and the new sim must be supplied with a phone also before it will work.

It does say in the original post you only need your original sim? Have I missed something? (I did only skim through the thread, sorry :o)

Hmm, maybe that is only when you text for the upgrade. When you call the number you need to have the sim in your phone. Thank you anyway
