  • It has been lovely here today so we popped over to the watermill and picked up a gorgeous mantelpiece for £50. We didn't order one because the company who are putting the stove in are very expensive on that sort of thing, their cheapest was £299  So I am a very happy burrefry :D

Hospital again tomorrow at 10.15am just a different consultant :( and I have a podiatry appointment on Friday. That is three appointments in one week  Not to mention that I am at physio next Thursday and I will have to tell tham that I have been put on the operating list because that will affect a lot of things. It looks like I will have to go back to using the wheelchair while my hand heals I have to have it in a high sling for a couple of weeks, so I will not be able to use the scooter :(:(

Off to Collectormania at Stadium MK on Saturday which is right next to the big Asda , so I want to pop in and get DS a dressing gown for Christmas. Then all I have left to get for is FIL :j

    Molly any news on DS?

Afternoon everybody-hope you are all well,

Feeling pleasantly tired ,been out walking with a motley collection of dogs and owners and Lylapup is learning to be a good girl :D The fields are sooo muddy though  its ok for the 3 Labs that came they just jumped into the brook but she doesnt do water, had to rinse her with a bucket when we got back and now she is flaked out.,so I'll get a bit of peace now.

Hunters Chicken for tea & I'm using some left over veg..DGD is at a party later so we wont see her today.Although she's at another one on Saturday,DS has just told me,but its DiL2bs nephew so we've been invited to go and watch(one of those activity places)

Nearly got the house straight now after swapping rooms about, though there is still a lot of craft stuff needing new storage, then I can carry on with my cards for Christmas.I need to make a Christening card too as we are going to one on Sunday.

We forgot to put our general bin out yesterday  so it's 2 weeks till the next collection and its rammed full now because we've been sorting and chucking during the room swap.We do have a spare bin so we'll just have to fill that. Our neighbour doesnt often put hers out as she's away a lot so she might let me put it on her drive next time if I text her.

    Right,off to make a brew :D take care x

    Afternoon all,

Thanks snoozer I hope your right:cool:

I'm back from the dentist and very pleased I didn't need an injection:j just a small filling that had already been temporarily filled. It was just a bit uncomfortable but fine thank goodness. Next step is my mould for my bridge but then it will have to wait to be finished until after my leg op.
I was in desperate need for some new makeup bits and although I would normally order on line I just wanted to have a look at colours etc anyway all make up is 3 for 2 in Boots plus i used my points for a nude lipstick I had my eye on. So only paid for two items and got four, result.
It's been a glorious day here. Have a chicken in roasting and shall walk around to 6th form shortly fingers crossed he is doing ok.
    Will pop back later x

I lost all of my hair when I was having chemo and looked like a billiard ball, and when it grew back it was very thick and curly :):) now after 5 years its still as thick but now only wavy and so grey. But I don't mind and my grandsons call me badger at times as I have a white streak going right across the top of my hair :):) The four boys used to sit on my chair and lap rub Aqueous cream into my bonce as the oncologist said it helped to keep the scalp from drying out.Well it certainly made it grow back quickly and I need to have a trim every 5-6 weeks as it grows so fast :):):)

Ben has heard back from ucas and he's been offered depending on his results next June, Anglia Ruskin Uni at Cambridge so he's quite a happy boy at the moment
