Sky new box

Hi we have a sky subscription costing between 75-80 a month. This includes a multi room subscription.
The multiroom box is kaput and has not worked properly for months, now has died completely.
I have read on various forums that i can get the new 2tb wireless box for £49 if I get a new multiroom subscription, then I can cancel the existing one.
Anyone know if this is right as I pay sky enough without paying for multiroom I'm not receiving!!! Thanks.

If your box has failed, you can either purchase a new one direct from Sky(without any discount) or you could try looking for a second-hand decoder on E-Bay. In addition, if you pay Sky £65 for a call-out, then Sky will provide a re-furbished replacement box. Finally, you could simply cancel your Multi-Room subscription entirely.
Your choice what to do.
I notice you've asked this question several times before:

I don't think the answers have changed since your other two threads from July and January. Have you really paid eleven monthly subscriptions at £10.25 without having a working box? This would have paid for a new box!0 -
Thank you for your reply.
Actually for your information we paid for a new box and put it in the main room and moved the old one into the bedroom. This one is now faulty.
The second post was on behalf of my daughter who had the same problem.
I am told sky have different offers at different times and I didn't know I had a limit on posting.
Also I am aware of what a 'subscription' is and how it works, and I am told by sky that a multi-room can be cancelled any time after the 12 month contract period, and a new multi-room subscription/contract can be taken out at any time.0 -

Nothing wrong with posting similar posts multiple times a few months apart, you may get a different reaction each time. However, I find constantly checking up on people a bit weird?0
