After countless ADSL modems, necessitating ADSL filters on all the sockets, and then faceplates with ADSL filters built-in, I have a whole box of these things in case I need to re-decorate and re-wire. Not much copper in a computer cable. Trust me, I have stripped a few to get at the copper wiring inside.
