I sent off a sample of the damaged hosepipe to Hozelock as requested by them back end of last week, and today I get a parcel from them with a 30m Ultraflex hose. That was really quick of them and pleased they stand by there products

They don't stand by there products, but they do stand by their products.
Don't call me a pedant because I already know that.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

    That's a result!
It just goes to show that it's worth contacting the manufacturers sometimes!
    Well Done!

    For future reference...

Did yew have proof that yew brought the hose?
Or did they just take you're word four it?
Either way their a top company four doing this.
I don't no many companies that would do this without a lot of persuasion!

Yes and they were really nice on phone too. I rarely complain about products maybe I am lucky or just make sure I get good ones for job. I did make sure I got a good hosepipe my last Hozelock which was cheaper version kinked a lot so I kept the reel and got a new hose from B&Q 2 years ago

I think all pedants should have to declare that in their signature. :D:D
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

;) I was always taught "there" is for inanimate ;) or as in over there ;)

Then just to throw another into the equation :rotfl: there's...."They're" , as in "They're getting on my wick being so pedantic :rotfl:

couldn't agree more:D:D:D, but if pedanticism rules, (is that even a word), I was always taught that "their" is the possessive form.

    Anyway, what about the ooo'spipe?
