Noise margin looks fine, you should be going faster than 1.5mbps, what package are you on?
I would have thought your line would support between 3 and 4 mbps

we are on mid package.
was told 5 meg when signing up.
got 2.5 meg, it was then downgraded to 1.9 as apparently it was my line that could not handle the speed of the connection that was causing the router to drop wireless connection. it was bottlenecking they said. their first reaction was that the only way to fix it was to drop to 0.5 meg, i refused. The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits0 -
Sounds like a lot of rubbish that they were telling you, however since you now have a healthy noise margin you might do better if they uncap your line.
I would recommend you post your full router stats over on skyuser, the more knowledgeable guys on there would be able to give you more advise.

I dont know much about these routers , except that billion routers operate happily under lower s/n dB's . Thats why i got one , I live about 1.5 km from the exchange . The sky netgear gives up the ghost anywhere under 6dB , whearas the billion router laughs at such numbers and throws the tomatoes at and carrys on with the connection .
Connected 4 months with billion router , not one disconnection . And no trouble with wireless either .0 -
