Fricking Virgin Media

I get junk mail of them virtually every week.It goes straight in the bin.
We're talking A4 size quite often.Must cost them a fortune.

Here's a tip Branson,stop the junk and you'll be able to lower your prices

The "junk" mail leads to many new subscribers and it's cheaper to target areas rather than individuals.
Here's a tip Daz2009, throw the junk mail in the re-cycle bin and forget about any lowering of prices.:p

send the Junk mail back, see how they like it (return it in prepaid envelope)

remove any details of yours, and send as much of there junk back

I always return junk mail to the sender!! Eventually they remove your details from the mailing list but not Virgin. I even made a complaint to them when I was a customer with them which led to me cancelling the contract and they STILL bombard me. I get one every couple of weeks....

The problem is that you as an individual are not on their "mailing list". Virgin just target whole postcode areas and don't even worry if they send invitations to subscribe to their services to people who are already customers! The reason is clear, the Post Office charge a whole lot less to deliver these "scattershot" mailings.

Sending the mail back to Virgin, therefore, is a waste of time since Virgin will not remove a whole post code because of one complaint.

As explained above, this is just a waste of time. Virgin junk mail is addressed to "The Householder", indicating that they don't know the individual it is sent to.

VM wouldn't even know YOU got it - it is invariably 'unaddressed mail' which Your postie shoves through your door with other carp.

You can ask RM to block delivery of UM, and there!s a form on the royalmail.com website you can complete.

If I was ever wanting a cable tv service, VM is the last company I'd choose purely because of their excessive marketing.
Every time a company send me useless junk they go down a notch in my estimations! Sky used to be top, now it's Virgin!

I don't even have a TV ... I definitely don't need any of their services!
