Is your card in credit (just thinking of their original comment about not generating statements when in credit)?

No, I put it on purpose in debit to try and see if it changes anything for more than a month.
    It did not change anything.

It's a problem with their system.
I am trying to find out if others do see something under that "Statements" tab as according to them there is a 'general problem' for everyone?

Not with mine; and I've not seen any other reports of problems on here.

Sorry, you meant to say you cannot see any statement neither or you do see them?

    Weird ...
Should I call them again and get a useless response? :(

If I remember correctly, one would see online statements only if one had opted for them. If one is signed up for paper statements then one would not see them online. They had this info box towards the top when I logged in last month and the change was due to take effect Feb 1.

I just called them - finally spoke to someone who knows what's really going on.

Apparently since I have a bank account with Halifax and a Credit Card, they somehow have 2 online profiles for me in their system, instead of one, so the one I spoke with sent a request for their administration to fix it and have only one profile for me, and hopefully within 5 working days I should finally be able to view the statements online without any problem.

I had the same thing. No online statements for months and then the above explanation after a frustrating 40 minutes phone call. 30 minutes of that was to convince them I wasn't just being daft!

I've got the same problem with my Halifax Clarity creditcard.

I wonder if it because I already had a Halifax Shareaccount which they have added to the Clarity Credit card too.

I spent 1hr on the phone to them last month, but in the end lost the will so hung up on them.

I'm guessing I am going to have to try and call them again unless anyone knows a way to send them an electronic message?

Did that actually solve the issue?
