Halifax Clarity Card - NO ONLINE STATEMENTS!

So I got this message from Halifax in my account about changing to online statements soon because I won't be able to do so later ... so I did it ... and I got an email a week ago telling me my online statement is there ... but it's not ... I waited and waited and checked but it's not available in a PDF format just like they promise.
Okay, call their customer service and problem solved, right?
Wrong ....
I called them today and the lady I spoke with told me I am paying too quickly the money for the ATM withdrawals I am making abroad ... I told her they charge interest from the very first day so I'd like to avoid that and just use it because it's great for FX transactions ....
So she said I'm better off with paper statements because the online statement doesn't generate a statement if you are in a positive balance with your card OR if you pay too quickly, it "drives the system crazy" according to her ....
Have you ever experienced anything similar?

Don't go in to positive balance.
It's against the T&Cs.0 -

it may do, but if its only small amounts, and not really done on purpose, i doubt they would do anything0 -
How do you get online statements only?
Great card, but they send me a statement in the post every month. I didn't think this was even possible in 2013!0 -
I'm not sure they haven't got a general problem with their online statements at the moment; one or two of us started getting emails telling us we haven't viewed our last three statements, even though we had viewed and downloaded them.
However, if you click the 'Statements' tab, are there any months listed below?
Or, under 'Recent transactions', if you click 'Previous month', is there a 'View full statement' button?0 -

No, it's always showing "No statements" there.

Yes, I can view the transactions this way but why can't I download an official statement from the "Statements" tab?
Do you have the same problem?
I decided to go back & try the online facility as I'm flooded with paper mail already but it seems like the problem I reported several months ago still persists ....
Any ideas / thoughts?0 -
This is a bit new for Halifax, but finally you can opt out. There is a box on the right-hand side, lower down, called 'Your account tools'. One of them is 'Start/stop paper statements'.
Yes, I'm aware of that, however if you opt to receive statements online it would never generate them online.
I've been with them on the phone 3 times, the best they have done after keeping me on hold for 10 minutes is telling me "we're aware of the problem and working to fix it" ... or in another words they can't or don't want to help/assist.0 -
I know. That was addressed to theEnd, who wasn't.jumperabv3 wrote: »Yes, I'm aware of that.0 -
Is your card in credit (just thinking of their original comment about not generating statements when in credit)?jumperabv3 wrote: »No, it's always showing "No statements" there.0
