Just downgraded package and been left with the box and all the cables. Am I able to hook the box up to another room. Or is it now just a fancy doorstop?

If you've cancelled Virgin TV services then you'll get nothing if you plug the box in except a message that you're unsubscribed. The box remains the property of Virgin Media and you should arrange for it's return.Just downgraded package and been left with the box and all the cables. If you want this to work in another room you'll need to subscribe to Multi-room.I still have tv. Just got a box replaced and they left one as well.
As I said above, the box remains Virgin's property and you should arrange for it's collection if you don't plan on having Multi-room.
Why didn't you give the box to the installer of the new one?0
