data allowance con

Hi all

Not sure if this is worth trading standards visit
on pay monthly contract with tesco for ten years recently going over unlimited data (this never ever happened not changed usage)check account and in my bundle section where I can take family perks etc my allowance says 2048mb(2gb) but tesco are claiming my fair usage is 1024mb(1gb) they are refusing to honour the 2gb despite it clearly in print my allowance is 2gb hardly unlimited !

Do I have a case any advice appreciated .

Why not try and see? Unlimited means different from the networks to you and I, test cases have ruled in favour of the networks, so consider if those instant pointless facebook updates are really necessary.

I think 2Gb means 2Gb everywhere.

Have you had the same plan for 10 years ?

Are you on a capped plan or unlimited data plan ?

I really is about time the regulator got tough on this 'unlimited data' nonsense. Unlimited is just that - unlimited. Not 1gb or 2gb. UNLIMITED. I simply cannot believe they have got away with it for so long.
