DECT phone problems

Actually my comment was valid and prompted me to contact Duracell to ask whether constant recharging (by returning to base) or letting the batteries run down slightly (by leaving off base) made any difference to battery life (I'm not referring to the situation with laptop batteries but the fact that some brands state X amount of recharges possible ) and was informed that there is no difference....so next time I'm told off for not replacing the handset..."0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0

OK. Fine, but your comment read as if you were advising me the battery would not be charged if it was not returned to the base.
Where do you think the battery receives the electricity to charge from if not from the base?0 -

Of course I know the batteries are charged from the base, I cannot believe you even mentioned it! I have had DECT phones for several years and do realiese the batteries do not charge themselves. Goodness me!!! Ineptitude may be your name but it is not mine."0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0 -
