control panel > programs and features > view installed updates on the left hand side. find the update for IE10 and un-install it.0

To go back 3 versions(now about to be 4!) seems extreme. Is there something wrong with IE10 as opposed to 7 that someone can help you with? Have you considered Chrome, Opera or Firefox as an alternative?
Menu Bar: If it is not showing then the ALT key will make it show. To keep it go to the View menu and make sure Menu Bar and Loick Toolbars is clicked0 -
Using IE7 is a bad idea as it is less secure than IE10. If you don't like IE10 use another browser such as Chrome or Firefox.
To turn on the menu bar permanently right click an empty area in the tab bar and check the menu bar option in the menu that appears.0 -
Thank you to all who have replied. IE 7 is what I'm used to. With IE 10 I can't seem to understand it and I can't see all my favourites, everything's different. I ve got google chrome as well but I don't like that much either lol.0

Hi I don't have that option don t know what it s called on windows 70 -
IE7 running on W7 is obsolete and insecure. Tried Firefox?
Sounds like you just need to set IE10 up properly with your own personalisations. No free lunch, and no free laptop

OK, can you open the Control Panel?
Start... Control Panel
Next you are looking for Programs or Programs and Features
If it was Programs, then after you've clicked on that, then click on Programs and Features
Next, on the left hand side of the window are three options:
Control Panel Home
View Installed Updates
Turn Windows Features On or Off
Choose View Installed Updates
If you then Filter by Programs - the program type is Microsoft Windows, then scroll down and eventually you'll see "Windows Internet Explorer 10".
Highlight that, then click Uninstall
...but as others have said, it's a big security risk, and every time windows updates runs, it will try to install the newer versions.1. Have you tried to Google the answer?

I think you'll have to disable the update in Windows Update as well as Microsoft were forcing the change to newer IE versions as they are far more secure.
I'd suggest getting used to IE10 as you'll find a lot of web content won't run on IE7 and that will become worse as time goes by. At work we're stuck with IE6 due to my employer's appalling IT strategy, and loads of websites won't work properly. We've had to install Firefox as well to view websites that we need for business.0 -

I'm stuck with IE8. We're allowed Firefox, but only up to 12.0
The funny thing is that we us Microsoft Sharepoint, which is faster and more stable on Firefox than on IE8.1. Have you tried to Google the answer?

No I haven t tried Firefox. I ll try and stick with ie10 as I didn t realise its insecure but I don t know how to personalise it. I had a long list of favourites on ie7 but I can t find them on ie 10.0
