If you're going to state stuff like this and try and get the OP off to his optician for a probably pointless check, you ought to say why you think there's a problem. I get dazzled the same way at times and there's nothing wrong with my eyes (I have yearly checks due to my work).
I will.
I suffered badly with 'starring' around oncoming lights. In wet weather the starring appeared around every water drop on the screen too. It made night driving in the wet almost impossible.
The cause. A cataract. After it was operated on my night vision returned to normal.0 -
Thanks Andy - that is useful info and perhaps something the OP might consider..0

Are you seriously suggesting it's a good idea to wear sunglasses at night?
I thought you could get special glasses for night driving.

Do you have a decent helmet with a clean scratch free visor, if your visor is dirty or scratched it may be the cause of your problem.0

I keep a pair similar to these in the car, they d help me with low early morning sun and oncoming headlights. They also make the green traffic light go blue.I thought you could get special glasses for night driving.

Get a pair from greenham or arco safety wear for biking though. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett
